A visit to a Sunday morning car boot sale has unexpected and unhappy repercussions for Andrew when he comes face to face with a feared object from his past. Driven by guilt and self-loathing he takes flight in order to avoid confronting his fears, leaving behind all that’s most dear to him. He realises all too soon that he’s made a dreadful mistake in leaving Thomas and his life begins to fall apart, as he resorts to old and destructive methods of coping with emotional pain. However, Thomas isn’t the type to just quietly accept the disappearance of his younger lover and sets out to find him and bring him home.
