Starring a young Russell Crowe, The Sum of Us is a warm and deeply affecting film about a father and son relationship. Harry and Jeff are not only father and son, but best mates too. And although it's not exactly what he had in mind, when Jeff announces he's gay and looking for love, good old dad is happy to help him find Mr. Right. But Harry's well-intentioned efforts to pick out a partner for his burly, rugby-playing boy simply trigger one disaster after another.
